Transitioning your cat

Changing environment, smells, traveling, leaving siblings and the only home a cat/kitten has known can be very overwhelming.

By starting them off with the same food, litter and favorite toys, this can help tremendously to make the transition less stressful.

Download the New Kitten Information Guide for the step to step process of making a better transition for your new cat/kitten.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the health guarantees?

Parents & kittens are fed primarily a organic raw food diet with other natural supplementations. Each kitten will be up to date on their vaccines and tested free of FELV and FIV. Breeding cats have DNA health genetics tests completed showing they are free of all major diseases tested (see our Instagram for test results). Most importantly, we breed our Scottish fold with straight ear cats to be sure they only carry one copy of the fold gene to ensure better health.

At what age are kittens available?

Kittens are ready to join you in your home between 12-16 weeks of age. The exact timing depends on their development and vaccine schedules, travel etc. This gives them the proper amount of time to be nourished and trained by mom. Kittens will have their first required vaccines and be litter trained. Certain kittens we may keep a little longer for showing or arrange with you to have a show kitty!

What is the process to reserve a kitten?

First step is to complete the kitten waitlist application. There is a FREE waitlist and an option to select the priority waitlist. For the priority waitlist there is a $250 non-refundable deposit that goes toward the purchase of your kitten. This gives you priority pick of the litter. Once we open up reservations for the FREE waitlist of kittens we have available, if we have a type or kitten you are interested in, we ask you to message us and let us know. We then review your application. Once you select a kitten, you will sign a sales agreement and pay a non-refundable deposit of $1000 to reserve the kitten. Then before or on the day of pick you will pay the remaining balance. If you change your mind on a kitten, we can transfer the deposit one time for a future kitten. Deposit contract is good for 2 years after signing.

How much does a kitten cost?

Prices range depending on various factors but we know how it's important to have at least an idea for your budget. Kitten prices start out at $2500-$3500.

Price includes: Up to date vaccines, de-worm, tick/flea, microchipped and vet health check & tests clearing them of FIV & FELV & fecal analysis for parasites before re-homing.

Price also includes kittens being fed organic raw meat while in our cattery, and that kittens have been bred from genetically healthy parents FREE of PKD, FIV, FELV and all other major diseases (see our instagram profile for full health & genetic profiles of parents).

Where are you located?

We are located on the beautiful and lush Big Island of Hawaii. We live in the sunbelt just a few blocks from the ocean on the East side of the Island. To fly in and pick up kittens, the closest airport is Hilo. Kona airport is 2 1/2 hours away. Come for a vacation and take home a sweet cuddly kitten!

What options do I have to get the kitten to me?

We are located on the Island of Hawaii near the Hilo airport. New owner is responsible for costs to get their kitten. We can kitten nanny (we fly to you) inter island for either the cost of the flight or shared cost with another family who is also receiving a kitten at the same time on your island. Or kittens can be shipped in cargo via specific airlines from Hilo, Hawaii. We do prefer that the kittens ride in the cabin of the airplane on the day of delivery with either you or someone escorting them. Depending on location, we can discuss transportation options.
